A Marathi and English Rhyme for Little Children
इनारा साजरी करे दिवाळी is a small rhyme for small children.
On every page two more people in the family get the house ready for Diwali. Tai arranges the tray of lamps, Dada lights the sparklers, Aai fills a bowl of kheer, Baba hangs the lights, Kaku hands round the laddu. And every time, Inara celebrates Diwali with two more of them.
Every page has three lines. One in Marathi. One in English letters, so you can read it out loud even if you do not read Devanagari. One in English, so you know what it means.
It is written for children who are growing up far from home, and for the people who put them to sleep at night.
