Privacy

Inara Library is one person and his family. This page says plainly what happens to anything you send us.

What we keep

If you ask about a custom book, we keep your name, your email, and whatever you typed in the form about your family and the language you want. We keep it so Satbir can write back to you, which is the only reason it is asked for.

If you download the colouring pages, we keep your first name and your email so we can tell you when a new book is out.

Nothing else is collected. There is no tracking, no advertising pixel, and no analytics that follows you around.

Where it is kept

In a database hosted by Supabase. Only Satbir can read it. The website itself is allowed to add a row and is not allowed to read anything back, so nobody can pull the list out of the page.

Photographs

Custom books are made from photographs of your family. When that part of the website opens, photographs will be stored privately, they will only be used to draw the pictures for your own book, and they will never be published anywhere or shown to anyone else.

We will not use your photographs in our own books, in our marketing, or on this website. The people in the books you can buy are Satbir's own family and they agreed to it.

Ask us and we will delete your photographs. Ask us after the book is printed and we will still delete them.

What we never do

We do not sell your details. We do not share them with anybody else, except the companies that run the website itself, which today means Supabase for the database and, when payments start, Stripe for the card handling. Neither of them gets your details for their own use.

We do not send you anything you did not ask for. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.

Getting your details removed

Write to inaralibrary@gmail.com and say what you want removed. We will do it and tell you when it is done. You do not have to give a reason.

You can also ask for a copy of everything we hold about you.

Children

These are children's books, so a parent is usually the one writing to us. This site is not meant for children to use on their own, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you think your child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.

This page is written in plain words rather than legal ones, on purpose. It is not legal advice. If Inara Library grows, it is worth having a lawyer read it.
